Overlake Orthodontics

First Visit

From the moment you walk in, we want you to feel welcome!

We understand that many people have different needs and expectations about orthodontics.  During your new patient exam, we will get to know one another, answer your questions and discuss your concerns in approximately an hour.

We will start by taking computerized digital images of you and/or your child’s teeth and a panoramic x-ray to obtain baseline information.  After a thorough examination, Dr. Lake and Dr. Lemery will provide you with complete information regarding the nature of your orthodontic problem, how long treatment would take, and an estimated fee for our services.

Dr. Lake and Dr. Lemery are committed to providing the highest level of care for you and your family.  The doctors and their staff take pride in their ability to listen to your concerns, answer your questions, and keep you updated on treatment progress.  Most of all, they believe in treating you as they would a member of their own family, with a relationship built on mutual trust.

Dr. Lake and Dr. Lemery are pleased to offer complimentary exams and first x-rays as a courtesy for new patients, as well as for additional family members of established patients.

Getting Started with Treatment
After your examination, additional diagnostic records will be necessary for Dr. Lake and Dr. Lemery to personally diagnose each patient's case.  These records include impressions (plaster models of your teeth), jaw structural analysis, etc.  These records can often be taken on the same day as your examination.

After careful review and study of this diagnostic information, Dr. Lake and Dr. Lemery will present their recommendations and options for treatment, length of care, and cost.  Although fees will vary based on individual cases, we offer a variety of affordable payment options, including the coordination of insurance.  Then we can begin your orthodontic treatment for a beautiful, healthy smile!
